POWER
DXT has an experienced power trading team that optimizes physical power flows at a European level, supported by sophisticated internal analysis and forecasting models. We exchange power products on the intraday market as well as on the prompt and forward markets. Our advanced internal trading strategies allow us to exploit market spreads in order to capture arbitrage opportunities and maximize our trading results. In 2022, DXT traded over 71TWh of power in Europe and managed over 3’500MW of renewable power plants. Thanks to its structured trading competencies, DXT can manage and optimize renewable and conventional power production by offering competitive Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), that provide an opportunity to its producers to benefit from an efficient market access and to minimize imbalance risks.

Being one of the top gas wholesalers in Europe, we offer our business partners competitive pricing and tailor-made flexibility and structured products. With more than 400 active counterparties, we have a wide and solid network of relationships within the industry. DXT has successfully developed operations in Central Eastern European (CEE) markets, setting up an office in Prague, Czech Republic, and in Kiev, Ukraine. In 2022, DXT traded 521TWh of natural gas, increasing and consolidating its presence in the European markets.

In 2017, DXT traded 650 TWh of natural gas, increasing and consolidating its presence in the European markets.

DXT Commodities is an active participant in the LNG Spot trading market with a growing and flexible portfolio. DXT has sourced LNG supplies from most majors, projects and state companies whilst being a reliable supplier to our counterparties in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. Our ability to offer fast, flexibly and reliable solutions when coupled with our extensive experience trading natural gas within all major European and North American hubs allows us to offer integrated tailored solutions to all our counterparties. DXT’s independent and entrepreneurial culture helps us foster valuable and sustainable partnerships across the entire LNG value chain.
Since 2015, DXT has started a diversification into the oil trading business. Today from our trading desk in Lugano we specialize in trading and managing risks deriving from LNG and Natural Gas oil-linked contracts as well as assisting our counterparties in covering their hedging needs across the barrel (crudes, distillates, fuels and bunker fuels) both on linear and non-linear derivatives.
